ABOUT BUBBA KING
Bubba owns Godspeed Hollow, a small dairy farm in Newberg, with his wife, Sarah.
Raised in Sherwood, Bubba's family modeled volunteerism regularly. Bubba believes in taking care of neighbors as a responsibility and privilege of a strong community. Bubba has owned four businesses, all sold for a profit or sustainable on their own. Bubba has values on both sides of the aisle and believes that the two-party system no longer serves the interests of the collective community.
Bubba and Sarah have two young children who attend Newberg Public Schools.
In addition to being a dairy farmer and small business owner, Bubba serves as the President of Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Bubba was a member of City of Newberg's SDC Committee, which focused on finding a balance between affordable development, workforce housing, and preservation of our county's beloved character.
Through this work, Bubba helped create a process to incentivize development of affordable, single-family homes with SDC discounts.
Bubba is currently a member of the Newberg Urban Renewal Agency Citizens Advisory Committee (NURA-CAC). Made up of local residents, business owners and organizations, the NURA-CAC helps identify the highest priority projects within the urban renewal area to support business growth and development.
